Focus and Scope

Journal of Nursing Science is a six-month periodical journal containing various articles / texts in the form of research results, case studies, idea/ innovations, and literature reviews by all nursing profession society members ranging from students, lecturers, clinical nurses, and nurses who work in non-clinical institutions such as research institutes, NGOs, Health Insurance, and government. Scientific papers may take the form of final project journals, original articles, or the results of student writing contests or referrals. Journal of Nursing Science focuses on Pediatric , maternity, medical surgical, community, family, gerontology, Mental Health, emergency, disaster, critical and basic nursing.

Peer Review Process

1. All manuscripts received by JIK will be reviewed by experts in the related fields of science and the executing editor. It would take 4-6 weeks for reviewed.
2. The aspects key points to be reviewed are:
• The introduction. It should have explained clearly the magnitude if the issue, as well as elaborate the aim and objectives clearly.
• The methodology. It has to be explained clearly and include every detail of the study.
• The result must be clear and concise. the use of tables or pictures are preferred to give a better illustration andexplanation
• The discussion must be able to answer the aim of the study, as well as giving the insight on how it contributes to the recently available literature.
• The conclusion. It represent the prominent findings and significant aspects of the study.
3. Manuscripts that require major format changes or substantial corrections will be returned
to the author for improvement. The Authors have to re submit their manuscript revision within 2 weeks after they have been notified.
4. The research manuscripts sent to JIK must have met the ethical clearance. Studies using humans as subjects should have received written consent (signed informed consent)

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
