Journal History

Journal of Nursing Science Update (JNSU) is a media to share scientific studies about nursing published by the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya. This journal is peer-reviewed and published twice a year in May and November. It contains articles about emergency nursing, basic nursing science, community nursing, mental health nursing, pediatric nursing, maternity nursing, geriatric nursing medical and surgical nursing, and management nursing.

Jurnal Ilmu Keperawatan (JIK): Journal of Nursing Science, with p-ISSN 2088-6012 and e-ISSN 2598-8492, was first published in 2013 and discontinued in Vol. 9, No. 2, 2021. For 2022, JIK is changed to the Journal of Nursing Science Update (JNSU), 

Jurnal Ilmu Keperawatan (JIK): Journal of Nursing Science was changed to Journal of Nursing Science Update with a new ISSN number with e-ISSN 2829-0003 and p-ISSN 2829-7075 started in Vol. 10, No. 1, the Year 2022 . Since its inaugural issue in 2013, this journal has been published in Indonesian. However, since publishing volume 9, number 1 in 2021, this journal has used English to improve the quality of articles and the coverage of visitors from all over the world. This journal has been indexed in Google Scholar, Garuda, SINTA Science, and Technology index, and Crossref.
